Facebook availabe in 8 Indian languages for Mobile.

On April 3 The most popular and biggest Social Networking site Facebook announced a new facility for their users to have access to Facebook in 8 Indian languages. This facility will definitely fetch massive traffic and also increase the number of members to their site.

Facebook itself announced this news on Tuesday. From next week this facility of 8 languages will slowly be available for its users. With over 50 Million Facebook Users in India, we want to make sure that each and every Facebook user in India had a great Facebook browsing experience.


Facebook users can  also have access to Facebook by using "Facebook for every mobile" application in three national languages - Hindi, Malay and Vietnamese as well as in seven Indian languages - Gujarati, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Punjabi, Bengali and Marathi.

Before this Facebook was only accessible in English language. Facebook for Every mobile application was launched in July 2011. This Application works on and is compatible with more than 3600 Java Mobiles used worldwide.


As shown in the above Image there are 800 Million Facebook users worldwide whereas there are 50 Million Indian Facebook users while 350 people access Facebook on mobile worldwide.

After America, India is the world's largest platform for the Facebook and it's users. According to the survey of 31 December 2011 there are in all 46 Million active Facebook users in India. As compared to the year 2010 there is an increase of 132% of Facebook users in India.
