The good news is that "Facebook has officially added Smileys to their Chat Box". So, now there's no need to use any other app or service for using smileys in chat box while chatting with your friends. Facebook has made it very easy for its users to express their feelings and thoughts with friends.
All you will have to do is just visit your profile and click on any friends with whom you wanna chat, now the chat box is open for chatting, now right in the text box you will see a smiley icon in right corner, simply click on that icon and you'll get the complete set of smileys available for expressing your thoughts and feeling, so choose any one of them from and the package and hit enter.
